This lifejacket is made of 3 pieces which are independent of each other and therefore interchangeable :

 

THE COVER :

 

 

It protects the bladder and the percussion device from external attacks and allows the assembly to be released during inflation.

 

- Cordura cover: 1000 denier fabric, very strong, extremely abrasion-resistant, grease-resistant and washable,

- front opening with Velcro to prevent accidental unfastening,

- sewn bottom of cover preventing the bladder from slipping,

- abdominal belt,

- viewing window for checking the presence of the percussion system.

 

THE BLADDER :

 

It protects against drowning in (very) rough water or sea, even if the user falls into the water unconscious with heavy clothing.

 

- Polyurethane fabric, double high-frequency welding.

- Capacity of 15 liters and asymmetrical shape, ensuring :

* automatic user return,

* a backward tilt of the trunk at an angle of 30° to 90° from the vertical,

* support for the user's head out of the water,

* facilitates identification with 300 cm² of retro-reflective material.

- Its includes :

* 1 automatic and/or manual inflator,

* 1 oral inflation tip with cap + 1 whistle,

* 3 retro-reflective strips for optimal signaling,

* 1 printing indicating the folding method + 8 pins facilitating folding,

* 2 labels for monitoring the annual inspection.

Easy folding thanks to the printing on the bladder.

 

THE STRAPS :

 

It ensures that the vest is held on the user and takes up all the work effort.

- 2 webbing handles positioned on the user's thorax for hoisting - 1 webbing loop positioned on the user's neck for close retrieval

(from a boat),

- 1 single crotch strap, essential for user safety.
