An inflatable buoy is a floating structure used to mark routes or areas.

Generally brightly coloured, it is made from heavy-weight PVC-coated fabric and welded together. It can be shaped like a cylinder, cone or pyramid. The greater the surface area of the buoy in relation to its height, the more stable it will be.
