Boss Inflatable Life Jacket – Offshore Model – 150 Newtons

Part of the Liberté line, the Boss features a “tie” cut that leaves the shoulders completely exposed: ideal for offshore sailing, where you maneuver, climb, and work for hours without ever wanting to feel your life jacket. Its buoyancy of 150 newtons makes it suitable for all sailing conditions.

Comfort is taken to the next level: a durable Cordura cover, a backrest, and two thigh pads to prevent pressure points, plus dual popliteal straps for a secure hold in the event of a fall. The integrated paragliding harness buckle directly attaches to the lifeline. Several deployment configurations are available: automatic/manual UML (recommended), manual UML only, or salt-tablet-activated trigger.

Like all Certec life jackets, the Boss consists of three separate, interchangeable parts: the cover, the buoyancy chamber, and the harness. Folding, rearming, and maintenance are straightforward, and video tutorials are available on the Certec YouTube channel.
