Flat fender 20 cm – 50 x 120 cm

When a poorly constructed dock fender damages a beautiful hull, it’s never a matter of chance: it’s because there wasn’t enough surface area. At 1.20 m long, this flat fender covers a large portion of the hull and absorbs the repeated impacts from a boat that’s shifting on its mooring lines: in windy nights, harbor chop, and waves breaking over the bow.

Two materials get the job done: the 1,000 g/m² reinforced PVC bladder, which withstands impacts without flinching, and the 850 g/m² Cordura cover, designed to withstand constant scraping against the dock. Four attachment points—two on each side—allow for flexible orientation and enable the cover to be securely tightened so it won’t slip away.

And because it’s inflatable, it takes up no space on board: it has a standard valve for inflation using a manual or electric pump, deflates and folds up in just a few minutes, and stores in a storage compartment. The cover is washable and interchangeable; the inner bladder remains in place.
